The Secret

The Secret

don’t worry, nobody has the
beautiful lady, not really, and

nobody has the strange and
hidden power, nobody is
exceptional or wonderful or
magic, they only seem to be
it’s all a trick, an in, a con,
don’t buy it, don’t believe it.
the world is packed with
billions of people whose lives
and deaths are useless and
when one of these jumps up
and the light of history shines
upon them, forget it, it’s not
what it seems, it’s just
another act to fool the fools
again.

There are no strong men, there
are no beautiful women.
at least, you can die knowing
this
and you will have
the only possible
victory.

Great Interview re: Distribution | Live Master Class coming!

See on Scoop.itMaking Movies

Greetings!

Welcome to Issue #9 of the Distribution Secrets Bulletin!

I have 2 things for you in this Issue:

1) I recently did an interview that’s (I think) poignant for Producers & Directors. For example, I was asked what the 3 biggest mistakes are that indie filmmakers make in their quest for distribution… and my answers are not what you might expect. Check it out below…

2) I’ve scheduled my next live 2-Day Master Class for this June in Los Angeles. Info below. It will be jam-packed with distribution information & strategies for your movie or documentary. I’m also bringing in some great Guest Speakers. And there’s an Early Registration Discount available for another week!

Lastly, if you didn’t see the previous Bulletin (or if you’re not on the list to receive these Bulletins), it contained the Sundance Acquisitions of 2012, and the Top 30 Indie Movies of this past year. If you’re not on the list, you can get these immediately by signing up here: Quarterly Bulletin

Enjoy the interview below, and contact me if you have any questions.

To Your Success!

The Psychology of Pain: It’s Not What You Think

See on Scoop.itHomecare

What would you do if you learned from this moment until you died you would be in pain? Not something mild like an occasional headache, but something that overwhelms every one of your thoughts, feelings, and actions. For those who are willing to think about this very uncomfortable possibility, your answer might be based on a theoretical, religious, or spiritual conviction. You might think about something you’ve read or a workshop you attended where it was asserted that with enough focus, the mind can reduce the severity of pain, or even eliminate it. And in looking back at your past, you may find instances of being able to do just that.
