How are you?
Sick of Netflix
All of the above
If you checked one or more of these boxes, I invite you to watch these fascinating, original films from local New York filmmakers during the upcoming Lower East Side Festival of the Arts. I’ve had the honor of working with the festival committee as the curator of the film selection. This year, the festival will be dedicated to our essential workers, and it will be accessible for viewing without any cost, from your home, wherever that is. All films will be available for viewing from 6pm May 22nd to midnight May 24th EST at www.theaterforthenewcity.net. I’ve attached a list of the films participating in this year’s program. This online festival offers dance, film, music, puppet shows, etc. I will be appearing in the LES Plays section in an excerpt of the absurd play “Kitchenette.”
After wondering if the COVID-19 virus has killed the future of theater, I’ve finally decided to livestream the world premiere of my new play via Theater for the New City’s “TNC on the Air.”
It is 37 minutes long, and it will remain viewable for the next 72 hours (if all goes well.)
You can watch it live on June 4th at 7pm EST at theaterforthenewcity.com
