Ascension is the core dynamic of the Universe, and it cannot be understood without realizing that the Universe IS consciousness, and understanding how that consciousness is structured. Let’s do a quick review. The Ascension process is the fundamental evolutionary dynamic operating within the multidimensional structure of universal consciousness, and along with the laws and mechanics of reality creation these represent the three absolute foundational elements of reality and existence. The universal ascension process has been discussed throughout the ages and often misunderstood or over-simplified. Ascension is not about going to some higher “place” it’s about attaining higher levels of consciousness and reintegrating with your higher levels of self, and ultimately fully reintegrating with your highest self, none other than Source consciousness.
Adyashanti explores the impact of your awakening as an individual as it relates to the consciousness of the whole. When someone is deeply awake, their consciousness is being utilized by something greater than their egocentric makeup, which contributes to the state of our consciousness as a whole. Adyashanti explores the importance that our state of consciousness has on the world around us. Excerpted from “The Awakening of Wholeness”: https://bit.ly/2dDIRf8 Quotes from this Video: “The spiritual impulse is something outside of the egoic makeup. It is the impulse toward God, life, totality—to become self-aware.” “Awakening is when the whole becomes aware of itself; it is when eternity becomes self-aware.” ”What is happening in a deeply awakened person is that consciousness is being utilized by something greater than their egocentric makeup.” “Because of the way we are conditioned to think about this, what we imagine beforehand is that what happens is ‘I’ awaken, but anyone who has really ever deeply awakened doesn’t believe that. They know that’s not really what happens. The whole awakens through the individual.” “Whenever we have a true awakening, what’s actually happening is that the whole is becoming aware through the individual.” “Human beings are so powerful. The state of our consciousness means something, in fact, it means a lot. As far as life is concerned, it couldn’t possibly mean more, because we have the power to destroy it. So it’s pretty important how conscious we are, how conscious the whole becomes, and how many individuals that awakened consciousness is functioning through.”
The Revolution Will Come From Within
All of humanity is poised, expectant, sensing an intense energy of change flowing around them, about to impact their lives in ways that they cannot begin to imagine. Change is in the air, and everyone is feeling it. It is unsettling because you are unable to identify it or compare it with anything that you have previously undergone, although some are dismissing it as mood swings, which you are also experiencing. What is occurring planetwide at the level of energy – unseen and unmeasurable by even your most sensitive scientific instruments – is something so new and so startling that when it is recognized, as it will be very shortly, it will totally overwhelm your ability to be amazed, stunning you into open-mouthed astonishment. Wonders that will delight you are to burst into your awareness like an unexpected, and unforeseen sunrise. And far, far brighter than that could ever be.

The sūtra asserts that all the objects of the world, and the names and forms of experience, are merely manifestations of the mind. The Laṅkāvatāra Sūtra describes the various tiers of consciousness in the individual, culminating in the “storehouse consciousness” (Skt. Ālayavijñāna), which is the base of the individual’s deepest awareness and his tie to the cosmic.
